Porsche Panamera 2014



Originally unveiled in 2009 at Auto Shanghai, the Porsche Panamera was hailed by enthusiasts as the four-door sedan marked the long-awaited production update to 1989′s Porsche 989 concept vehicle. Now, the German auto manufacturer has unveiled the 2014 edition of the automobile. Replacing the old 4.8 liter V8 engine with a biturbo 3.0 liter V6 under the hood, the car’s smaller engine actually produces more power than the previous design, creating 420 hp alongside 384 lb-ft of torque. Additionally, the upcoming model year marks the debut of the Panamera S E-Hybrid edition – an improvement over the previous hybrid that now boasts a more powerful electric motor and ithium-ion battery for an improvement in gas mileage from 33 mpg to 76 mpg.
